Youth Sunday April 26.2015
Youth Ministry at St. Martin’s involves Christian formation classes, mission work, Diocesan retreats at Camp Gravatt and weekly youth gatherings of our Episcopal Youth Community (EYC) on Sunday evenings in our new Youth Loft in The Commons, the new building we dedicated in September 2013.
The work of forming youth into active Christians begins with coming together as a community, supporting one another through prayer and fellowship.
At St. Martin’s, a Youth Advisory Board works throughout the year to plan events designed to provide meaningful and fun formation experiences for St. Martin’s youth.
St. Martin’s also assists in a youth’s journey toward confirmation, which begins at the age of 16 in the Diocese of Upper South Carolina.
EYC at Transistions
We love service projects. Here we prepare to serve a meal at Transitions, a homeless ministry in downtown Columbia.

our kids
A mission trip to Philadelphia in July allowed some of our youth to take part in ministry throughout the City of Brotherly Love.

Our youth are active in worship, serving as acolytes beginning in the fifth grade.
