outreach feb 2019

Local and global projects are among the ways St. Martin’s parishioners strive to live into their baptismal promise to love our neighbors as ourselves. We define this work in two ways:

Outreach: Service to people who are in need due to poverty, injustice, homelessness and related causes of human suffering.

Community Service: An activity that serves the community at-large. This could include service to the environment, animals, etc.

Service to Others work is overseen by the Outreach Commission, chaired by Ann Barton. Other committee members are: Anna James, Barbara Kelly, Kate Hartley, Emmett Kirwan, Kathy Elliott and Gary Pendleton.

All projects that take place at the parish must be approved by the Outreach Committee, which meets monthly. Get your project started by submitting an Outreach Proposal Form to the committee. This electronic form is available to the right. Groups who have completed projects are also asked to submit an Outreach Summary Form, which is also available to the right.
